A mega National Project has seen a sea change in the main bridge work in the last 11 months, which provides a great satisfaction to the people of Northeast. Very frequently complaining of neglect otherwise. The Indian Railway team under leadership of GM/Construction Shri Shiv Kumar has all the enthusiasm, dedication and the confidence to complete the job in the next 40 months. Their demand for adequate financial provisions in the budget is very appropriate to utilize the Rs.1400 Cr. already spent and to achieve a strategic and emotional connection in the far-flung area of the country. The Indian Railway team’s dedication is in fact beyond I thought, it would be. No one complained anything as they have already and shall make the environment whole some even further with their initiative and team work. I complement the team, Shri Shiv Kumar and thank them promising all that is due to the project and to them.

I heard a lot about Bogibeel Bridge in many seminars and it was dream come true. The site work so well organized and the eye opener for all to us very educative and hassle free organization. I will recommended all my Chief Engineers must make a visit to this site to learn how things can be organized and dedication of Railway Officers and their contractors are all praise worthy.

I visited the project site last on 28^th Nov. 2008. Work of South Guide Bund was in initial stage of progress then commendable work has been accomplished by completing the bund in a short span of barely 5 months.

I earnestly compliment the entire team for the achievement.
